56,924 Apply For Kwara SUBEB/TESCOM teaching jobs as 35,709 gets cleared for CBT While Govt Explains Modalities For Screening

Out of the 56,924 candidates who applied for the Kwara SUBEB/TESCOM teaching jobs, 35,709 have been cleared for CBT. Kwara State Government explains modalities for screening. No fewer than 56,924 persons have submitted applications for the ongoing Kwara State government’s recruitment process for teachers, a statement said on Thursday. “While a total of 22,953 applied for the Teaching Service Commission vacancies, 33,971 put in for the State Universal Basic Education jobs. The government plans to recruit a total of 4,701 teachers for the two categories,” the statement said. “Of the 56,924 total applicants, 35,709 have/are been/being invited for the examination after a thorough online verification. This examination will be Computer Based Test (CBT). The remaining 21,215 applicants were not shortlisted for examination either for incomplete applications, incomplete results (not having credit passes in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics), or they applied for subject areas not advertised. All applicants are advised to visit the portals to know their status from tomorrow Friday 12th February, 2021. “The examination for applicants has been scheduled for between Monday 22 February, 2021 and Thursday 25 February, 2021. Those who succeed in the examination are to have their interviews between March 8 and March 20, 2021. Each applicant will get a text message to know the specifics of their examination and interview. The government urges all applicants to constantly visit the portals for updates on the process. “Applicants invited for the examination are to print their examination slips which will contain their passport photograph, registration number, local government, barcode and other details for biometric exercise that will admit them into the examination hall. “The CBT examination will take place in Sixteen (16) JAMB Accredited Centres across the three senatorial districts of the state. MSME  is an abbreviation which means Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises To REGISTER, click https://www.survivalfund.gov.ng/auth/payroll-support  to get started. Brief Introduction of the MSME The CBN launched the MSME Development Fund on August 15, 2013 with a share capital of N220 billion. The Fund was established in recognition of the significant contributions of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sub-sector to the economy and the existing huge financing gap. Eligible activities to be financed include agricultural value chain, services, cottage industries, artisans, trade and commerce and any income generating business as may be prescribed by the CBN from time to time. Objectives of the MSME Development Fund The broad objective of the Fund is to channel low interest funds to the MSME sub-sector of the Nigerian economy through PFIs to: Enhance access by MSMEs to financial services; Increase productivity and output of microenterprises; Increase employment and create wealth; and Engender inclusive growth Eligible Activities under the MSME Development Fund In line with the provisions of the Revised Microfinance Policy, Regulatory and Supervisory Framework for Nigeria, enterprises to be funded under the Scheme include: a) Micro Enterprises b) Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) The following are the eligible categories activities under the Fund: Agricultural value chain activities Cottage Industries Artisans Services Renewable energy/energy efficient product and technologies Trade and general commerce Other economic activity as may be prescribed by the CBN Please take note; You would need the following to fully complete the registration: Your BVN Number, account details, contact details Employee's account numbers, contact number and BVN Valid CAC Registration number SMEDAN Registration number Your business details , annual earnings and number of employees. Free Medical And Surgical Mission Storms Osi Town In Ekiti Local Government Area Of Kwara State.

The Ongoing state-wide free surgical intervention of the Kwara State Government was at Osi town in Ekiti Local Government area of Kwara State on Thursday, 26th November, 2020. The community is simultaneously benefiting from additional medical mission and free maternal services powered by the Kwara State branch of the National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners (NAGGMDP). https://kwaraconnect.com/ The exercise, according to the Out-going National President of the Association and the Permanent Secretary of the Kwara State Ministry of Health, Dr. Abubakar Ayinla, was described as a give back package of Medical Practitioners in the country and specifically the state to the larger society.   Also collaborating with the Kwara State Government is the March Care Initiative through the founder Mrs Bunmi Ayedun Lawal educated pregnant women and nursing mothers on care for themselves and their babies. The team had earlier met the Olosi of Osi town, Alhaji Saliu AbdulKareem Adasofegbe-1, during which he assured the community of the commitment the state Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasak, to bringing succour to inhabitants of the state in all spheres of livelihood, especially health care. https://kwaraconnect.com/owu-waterfalls-isin-lga-kwara/ The Kabiyesi appreciated the Governors support and concerns for his community and wished the team a successful mission in his domain.The Secretary of the Kwara State branch of NAGGMDP, Dr. Nurudeen Adana, commended the state Government for the active surgical intervention which has gone a long way in alleviating the challenges of people who had no resources to pay for the cost of surgery in the hospital.
