We’ll frustrate Berkane in Morocco – Kwara United Goal Keeper - Aiyenugba on the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup

Experienced goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba, is confident that Kwara United will frustrate champions RS Berkane in Morocco as they bid to qualify for the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup. The Afonja Warriors defeated the Moroccans 3-1 on Sunday in their second round, first leg preliminary encounter at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos. Despite falling to a seventh-minute goal to the North Africans, Kwara produced a late comeback to seal a crucial win ahead of the second leg in Morocco. The Nigeria Professional Football League side take a two-goal advantage to the reverse fixture billed for the Stade Municipal de Berkane on Saturday, with Dele Aiyenugba sure that they would frustrate their hosts by preventing them from taking control of the game. “It is going to be a tough game for sure, but we won’t put too much pressure on ourselves and we will just play our game,” he said. “When playing against the North Africans, you should not allow them to dictate the tempo of the game because once you allow them to do so, you are finished. We will not allow them to control the tempo and we will go hard on them one on one.
