Kwara State Governor Takes Move To Abolish Pension For Ex-Governors In The State
The Governor, @RealAARahman on His Official Twitter account makes a post on His move towards scraping pension for past Governors in the state.
He said :
In line with our campaign mantra and the yearnings of our people, next week I will be sending a bill to the State House of Assembly to revoke the law awarding pension packages to former governors and former deputy governors in Kwara State.

He also stated that Kwara state needs all the resources it can get to improve on human capital development with the State’s limited resources better spent on tackling the question of poverty and youth unemployment rather than lavishing the funds on past governors.
We believe this move will go a long way in managing the development of the state and pave a way forward for rapid development and more better use of such funds in the government.
