2027 Race: Sen. Sadiq Suleiman Umar Pays Royal Visit to Ohoro of Shao

In furtherance of his 2027 governorship ambition, the APC Governorship hopeful in Kwara and Senator representing Kwara North District, Sen. Sadiq Suleiman Umar (3SU), on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of Ohoro of Shao, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Job Obalowu Atolagbe (Ayanwole IV), shortly after his formal
declaration in Ilorin, the state capital – to intimate with the monarch and eminent palace chiefs of his grand declaration of his governorship bid in the Kwara North District.

During his visit to the revered monarch, Senator Sadiq was warmly received with pomp and cheers by community men and women, APC members in Moro LGA, and overwhelming supporters from the district.

The governorship hopeful while reiterating his commitment to the development of the Kwara North District via his campaign mantra ‘1 Man, 3 Districts,1 Kwara’, received royal blessings and prayers from the Ohoro of Shao and other palace chiefs for his success at the primaries and at the general poll, as he continues to accord respect to the traditional institutions in the district.
